Field set for $1,000,000 MGM Yonkers International Trot

The $630,000 Maple Leaf Trot was contested in Canada this past Saturday night and the top two finishers will BOTH be added to the $1M Yonkers International Trot field, rounding the powerful field of 10 combatants! The winner, Lexus Cody, established a new stakes, track, and Canadian trotting record with his 1:49.1 victory – he’s raced (and won) at Yonkers in the past, and is finally fully living up to his potential at age 7 (he’ll be representing Canada, as a son of Archangel). The second place, finisher, Periculum, is also no stranger to The Hilltop as he was the runner up to Jiggy Jog S in LAST years International Trot – he’ll be representing the United States, while barnmate Aetos Kronos will represent Sweden!
