Inseparable in Saturday Night 44G Open Handicap Pace

James Gillies • November 3, 2018

The tandem swallowed up Mach it So (Joe Bongiorno) late in the lane, Great Vintage easing out from the pocket and I'm Some Graduate altering course and closing inside to match strides at the line in a "sloppy" 1:52.3.

Mach it So was third, beaten a head, with Bit of a Legend N (Jordan Stratton) a two-move fourth and tepid 5-2 favorite Military Master A (Jason Bartlett) fifth. It was just a length-and-a-half between the five payees.

Saturday night's co-featured Open Handicap Trot was won by DW's NY Yank (Bongiorno, $9), who pocketed past 7-10 choice Gruden by a neck in 1:57. The Last Chapter was third, with Kinetic King and Boffin settling for the minors.

A reminder that the Raceway offers six programs next week, going Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings (first post 6:50 PM) as well as Sunday, Nov. 4th
