Powwow, last year's 3rd place finisher, becomes the third horse to accept invitation to 2026 MGM Yonkers International Trot
The third invitee to accept an invitation to this year’s Yonkers International Trot should be no stranger to fans of this race...Norway’s Powwow competed in last year’s event and though he was sent off at long odds (with just 16 career starts coming into the race), he turned in a big effort, finishing full of trot to be a close 3rd at the wire. And for those with a bit longer memory, it should be noted that Powwow’s sire Papagayo E won this race back in 2015 in outstanding fashion! For more details, please click
