SOA of NY, UFC star Charles "Do Bronx" Oliveira team up to help underprivileged children
Along with the outstanding Finals (and Consolations) for the MGM Borgata Pacing Series and Ursula McIntyre FM Pacing Series (on May 8th), fans were also treated to the “Team Challenge”, fittingly won by Charles “Do Bronx” Oliveira himself, driving “Bronx Miracle”! Despite his enormous success and fame, the multiple UFC Champion never forgot his humble roots from the Favelas in Brazil, and in 2012 launched the “Instituto Charles Do Bronx” in his hometown, offering a variety of services and opportunities to underprivileged children. The SOA of NY was proud to make a $5000 donation this wonderful charity, and hopes to see Charles back here at Yonkers sometime soon!
