The Standardbred Owners Association of New York Donates $5000 to Hunter Myers' Family
The SOA of NY is saddened by the death of driver Hunter Myers on March 20. By all accounts, Hunter was a consummate professional and a total asset to our industry.
In recognition of the impact this tragedy will have on his family, the SOA of NY today authorized a $5,000 donation to benefit Hunter’s one-year-old son, Hayden and fiancée, Chloe Fisher.
While Hunter was not part of the Yonkers Raceway drivers colony, it is nonetheless hoped that today’s contribution by the SOA of NY will serve to motivate members of the New York racing community to assist the Myers family in any way possible in the wake of their devastating loss.
